Hauser & Wirth Institute has awarded $280,000 in scholarships to Pratt Institute to fund full tuition for two graduate students entering their three-year, dual-degree in Library and Information Science and the History of Art and Design. Our goal is to help diversify the field by supporting BIPOC archivists at the beginning of their careers, and these scholarships foster underrepresented talent within these schools and their professional fields. Pratt’s unique program enables students to gain experience from the perspective of those who use archives as researchers, as well as those who care for them as archivists.
The scholarships recipients were selected by Pratt and awarded to students entering the program in the 2022-2023 academic year.
